Gretchen Law, L.C.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker who has been in private practice for 22 years in the New Haven area.

She received an M.Div from Yale University in 1978 and an M.S.W. from Columbia University in 1987. She trained at the Yale Psychiatric Institute where she worked as Senior Social Worker on the unit for a number of years.

In 1991 she founded the Parents’ Foundation in New Haven, CT., a multi-bed residential program for adults who are coping with psychiatric illnesses, a program which she executed for the next ten years.

Gretchen has been a lecturer for the Yale Department of Psychiatry.

She works with individuals, couple and families, early adolescent through adult and has specialized in young adults and adults with chronic psychiatric illnesses and their families.
